Unfortunately we tend to identify with many of our negative experiences on a deep and unconscious level. Trauma being the biggest infiltrator of all. It's probably because traumas are usually hidden within our main core identity or ego and work silently behind the scenes like the Great and Wonderful Oz. Traumas stay hidden in order to protect its identity like the Incredible Hulk hehe you feel me on this. The aim of the trauma is to protect us from like situations by recording similar circumstances, linking them and charging them with emotions such as fear, anxiety and anger.. The unfortunate part is with any thought process that we take on, within us unconsciously these thoughts create a life and character of its own, These thoughts like any other outside entity we host for a long time will gain some level of influence. You will be housing qualities and impressions of many circumstances, situations, persons place and things. An intimate guest, for instance a mate over time will impress upon us and us upon them. The dominant force often rules and makes the biggest impression sending its underlying desires and impulses onto the host.
So anyway back to this identifying with outsiders as recognition of certain aspects we need to attend to in ourselves... When your hit with the uncanny familiarity, this wonder and you are consciously in awe of the magnetism between this someone or something access this feeling immediately, this is the unconscious charge I was talking about. No matter if its a good or bad feeling, the fact that it is a bit irrational to have this intense preconceived notion is worthy of questioning. Ask yourself/soul (and please say Soul, God, Guides or Angels, Higher Self to prevent your ego or unconscious program from answering like the Oz) immediately if you can and write it down some unbiased and open ended questions; "Why am I encountering this place, what do you want to experience and note what pops in your head or your feelings."
The characters inside love direct questions and the evolved ones that want to hide will stir discomfort and defense. Make note of that as well.
Sometimes your journey requires full fledged hard core experience. I am that type. If your loyal to the game of life and begin to entertain some tumultuous endeavor yet FEEL like you must play to the end..... its time to begin to identify with what in the heck YOU need to learn and cultivate within SELF to free this trauma. After a while and with grace and age you will learn that you can always have the contrasting wonderful and loving experience to learn lessons also. All the while loving yourself through ALL your experiences.
