I don't normally use scriptures from the bible but they surely are my foundation back to the temple (ME)
What is Wisdom?
Wisdom is the knowledge of the spirit of God indwelling within you.This self knowledge provides total dependency on Yahweh and inner peace and no dependence on things outside of yourself and your connection. It is of God and is pure. If you do not have spiritual awareness then scripture says it can be obtained by obedience to Yah's laws. The law is our school master to bring us into the walk of the Messiah and then the spirit through faith and practice should abide within us, saving us from death.
Gal 3:24
Prov 13:14 (KJS) The law of the wise [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Prov 2:6 (KJS) For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.
Prov 2:10 (KJS) When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
Jame 3:17 (KJS) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy
Where is Wisdom?
Wisdom is a spiritual thing. Wisdom is the awakening, the higher understanding, the hidden, the intuition, the mysteries..... Wisdom is hidden in the inward parts where Yah placed his law.
Through meditation on the word or through self mastery and spiritual awareness you can tap into the inner wisdom of the spirit of holiness. Fasting and prayer/meditation are a good way to by pass the flesh and seek the Wisdom of God.
Job 12:12 (KJS) With the ancient [is] wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
Job 28:12 (KJS) But where shall wisdom be found? and where [is] the place of understanding? 13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
Psal 49:3 (KJS) My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart [shall be] of understanding.
Psal 51:6 (KJS) Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Wisdom is truly infinite and Divine like it's creator.
I love this scripture. I can visualize Wisdom (Chokmah) as the Holy breath or the Divine essence and presence of God (Shekinah). And yes both words are feminine and there is a feminine feel about it but that's just me. Enjoy
Proverbs 8:22- 36
22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
